This weekend, I went to the Pacific Media Expo with my friends Alex and Angel/Britney. We were there free as staff with Cosplay TV! It was really great. We got to interview cosplayers and the guests of honor! We met Shinichi "Nabeshin" Watanabe. You know the anime creator who draws himself in his anime's with the red jacket, blue shirt, yellow tie and giant fro? That's him. lol He's the creator of Excel Saga, Puni Puni Poemi, and all those funny shows.
I got to meet my most favorite fashion designer and DJ Takuya Angel!! He totally thought we were cool and waved at us every time we would go by! XD We went to his rave thing and fashion show. It was just as great as I knew it would be :3 He's so cool. lol I bought his CD even though I already have his music just so he could sign it for me <3 I felt
We also met and interviewed the creator of Angry&Hangry, Angelic Pretty, and a famous Jrock VK band called Uchu Sentai NOIZ. That was really amazing! I had no idea how famous they were, I just thought they were REEEALLY elaborate cosplayers and I think he made fun of me in Japanese for not knowing who he was DX He said something while we were 'talking' and then all these asians started laughing. ALex ditched me at that point so I guess I'll never know haha Those guys were really funny and crazy. I recoded the interview so I'll show everyone of my friends who wants to see LOL
We also met a girl named Ai Cherie, who is also big in tokyo and is trying to debut here too. SHe was really sweet and liked us too. xD Everyone was really friendly.
I even got to have a photoshoot for the one day I wore ABA! I hate/love that costume and I only wore it cuz I didn't have anything new and Britney was Taokaka from BlazBlue, so we wanted to match somehow. I didn't bring my key cuz it's a hassle and I got such amazing pictures! Dang...lol I wore my own creations/outfits the other two days to try and impress takuya and the designers there. I think I did a good job lol yeah right.
It was really fun. The guy with CosplayTV even said he might want us again for Anime LA or even Comicon! He said maybe even E3. It was a really great weekend <3
